Rajma for 'lockdown'



1 cup rajma for 2 person
big onion 1
tomato [ripe] 3
1 tablespoon red chilly [kashmir]
ginger 1 inch
coriandor powder 1 tea spoon
3 green chilly
1/2 teaspoon salt [as per taste]
butter/margarine [as per taste]



cooking method
soak rajma overnight in 4 cup water
pour soaked rajma and water into pressure cooker
chop fine - onion / tomato
chop in small pieces - ginger

add green chilly
add coriandar powder
add red chilly powder
mix all the above well

6-8 whistles in pressure cooker
then turn gas to simmer - 30 mins
turn off gas
let to pressure cooker settle - 30 mins

remove pressure cooker cover and stir it
let this boil for 15 minutes
add salt and butter

rajma is ready !
